I am not a religious person, but I always thought I understood Christianity. So what the Republican presidential candidates are doing confuses me.
They are wooing Christian conservatives with the promise or threat of wagging war on Iran.
It seems that the tougher they talk the more support they get from the Evangelicals. What gives here? Is the ‘Sermon on the Mount’ no longer a Christian message?
