A bank was robbed in the Loop this afternoon and the suspect escaped.
At 2:29 p.m., a man implied he had a gun and robbed a Citibank branch in the 0-100 block of West Washington Street, according to police spokesman Darryl Baety.
No one was hurt during the robbery, Baety said.
