It was very unsettling to read “Pesticide use suspected in puzzling die-off of bees; Studies say chemicals cause disorientation, weight loss” (News, April 1). These beneficial insects are prolific and proficient pollinators necessary for the harvesting of many very important and nutritious fruits, nuts and other foods.
Humans must become better caretakers of the Earth, the environment and our fellow creatures.
