Watching parents on TV take over egg hunts for children, pushing, yelling, instructing their kids to push or kick, I was in disbelief!
Why do these helicopter parents, hovering over their poor children, ruin what should be a fun event for the kids? This should be a happy memory when the children look back on it, not some memory of poor sportsmanship and unkind behavior by the moms and dads.
A time-out is needed for the parents.
