Chicago hosted the Nobel peace laureates summit this week, but elsewhere it was a bad week for World Peace. The former Bull who changed his name from Ron Artest to Metta World Peace and plays for the Los Angeles Lakers was suspended for elbowing an opponent in the head. Website headlines took full advantage:
*”NBA suspends World Peace for 7 games” (UPI)
*”World Peace ejected for violent act” (Sacramento Bee)
*”World Peace should be banished” (Rant Sports)
*”Give Peace a chance? He’s had too many” (Ventura County Star)
*”Peace out” (Concord Monitor)
