The Friday John Kass column quoted NATO protest organizer Andy Thayer as saying, “What the media want to talk about is the minutiae of the permit process, not the underlying reasons we’re here.”
Thayer wrote a column for your paper just two weeks ago (“Why we’ll march,” Perspective, May 3). The entire column was about the minutiae of the permit process, with only a few words about the problems caused by war.
He had his chance in your paper. He blew it!
