This is in response to attorney William Choslovsky’s “Who speaks for the disabled?” (Perspective, May 25). It is excellent. It puts a human personality behind the issue of how we take care of severely disabled people in our society.
The Choates and Misericordias allow us to fulfill our moral obligations to our fellow citizens in a way that compliments community institutions. We need solutions that meet the full spectrum of disabilities.
The only suggestion I have is to put it on Page 1 rather than Page 25. It should be required reading for all voters.
