Back when the original Flesor’s Candy Kitchen was in business in Tuscola, I was a college student at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and regularly rode the Illinois Central railroad between Effingham and the university.
As the train rolled north, the conductor called out station names of upcoming stops: Arcola, then Tuscola. Usually some wiseacre yelled out “What is next,Coca-Cola?”
The conductor just smiled and replied, “No, next stop is Champaign.”
