Thank God the jury found Christopher Vaughn guilty of murdering his wife and three children. I understand that everyone is entitled to a fair trial and an attorney that will present the best case to prove his or her client’s innocence. However, I have to wonder how his attorney could look in the mirror knowing his strategy was to try and blame this on Vaughn’s wife Kimberly. He had to know that theory was so absurd and so morally reprehensible. I could understand an insanity plea, but to try and pin this on a mother who was murdered is absolutely absurd. It sickens me that their theory of a mother turning around in an SUV and shooting each one of her children, then attempting to kill her husband, and finally turning the gun on herself, made any sense at all. I am glad that monster is going away for a long time and he can suffer every second of every day.
