Thomas P. McGuinness, president, Inland American Real Estate Trust, Inc.

Thomas P. McGuinness has been appointed president of Inland American Real Estate Trust, Inc. He will oversee the management of the company’s day-to-day operations, including the strategic business plan, investment decisions, asset management and financing functions for the diverse and nationally-positioned portfolio.

Heather Wilson has been appointed executive vice president and director of Ogilvy Public Relations’ Chicago Corporate Group. She will be directly involved in shaping strategy and executing programs for clients as well as overseeing management of the corporate group and leading business development initiatives.

Brian Worth, 49, was named executive director of Community Housing Advocacy & Development (CHAD) in Wheaton. Worth has more than 15 years experience in affordable housing development and Section 42 portfolio management, including large scale acquisitions, underwriting and operating budget analysis, and construction and facilities oversight.

Eduardo Tobon, president, Diner’s CLub International

Eduardo Tobon has been named president of Diners Club International. He will be responsible for the entire Diners Club business, including marketing, product management, operations, client relations and business development. Previously, Tobon served as CEO of the U.S. cards and payments division at Sovereign Bank-Santander.

Matthew Bruce, executive director, Chicagoland Workforce Funders Alliance

Matthew Bruce has been appointed executive director of the Chicagoland Workforce Funders Alliance. He will work with the management committee to oversee grant-making and will have a role in the Alliance’s support for new and existing workforce partnerships. Previously, Bruce was manager of regional workforce initiatives for the City of Boston.

Brenda Battle, vice president for care delivery innovation and assistant dean for diversity and inclusion, University of Chicago Medicine

Brenda Battle has been named vice president for care delivery innovation and assistant dean for diversity and inclusion at the University of Chicago Medicine. She will work closely with the Urban Health Initiative and doctors and researchers throughout the university to improve the access and quality of health care on Chicago’s South Side.

John Morlock, commercial banking senior vice president, Wells Fargo

John Morlock has been named a senior vice president and relationship manager in the Chicago North Regional Commercial Banking Office of Wells Fargo. He will develop new middle market relationships, manage an existing commercial banking portfolio, and manage and evaluate credit risks and market risks.

Bob Kettell, 56, has been named senior vice president of market solutions at System Development.Integration, LLC. He previously worked in network and infrastructure solutions.

Rob Karr, executive vice president, Illinois Retail Merchants Association

Rob Karr has been named executive vice president of the Illinois Retail Merchants Association (IRMA). He previously served as senior vice president of government and member relations. He joined the IRMA staff in 1994 and has been responsible for coordinating state government relations and lobbying activities in Springfield.
