Prior to Hurricane Sandy, some East Coast residents described themselves as anti-government, anti-union, self-reliant, “every man for himself” tough guys. I wonder how these folks feel about being saved from drowning by union members of big-government agencies that are funded by distant taxpayers who have nothing at stake.
