CB Dimitri Patterson was waived Monday, a surprise move. Patterson re-signed with the Browns as a free agent, and was slated to be the team’s nickel back. He was until he sprained his ankle in October and missed seven games. He returned and was cut — after being given a three-year, $16 million deal in the offseason — with $6 million guaranteed.
