EditorsNote: Corrects spelling of Witten Witten sets tight end receptions mark
Jason Witten of the Dallas Cowboys set the NFL single-season tight end record with his 103rd reception during Sunday’s 34-31 overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
The previous record was held by Tony Gonzalez with 102 in 2004.
Witten can add to that total when the Cowboys face the Washington Redskins on Sunday night with the NFC East division title and playoff berth on the line.
