A proposal to spend nearly $570,000 to construct new sidewalks was approved by the Downers Grove Village Council.

The new sidewalks are planned for 11 street segments:

*Aubrey Terrace, from Maple Avenue to the south limit

*Eldon Place, from Bunning Drive to 59th Street

*Bunning Drive, from Eldon Place to Fairview Avenue

*Wall Place, from 59th Street to the north limit

*Katrine Avenue, from Wisconsin Avenue to Curtiss Street

*Katrine, from Wisconsin to south limit

*Wisconsin, from Belmont Road to east limit

*Janes Avenue, from Inverness Avenue to Wisconsin

*Statton Street, from Grant Street to Lincoln Street

*Florence Avenue, from Ogden Avenue to south limit

*Chicago Avenue, from Stonewall Avenue to Cornell Avenue.

The project also includes right-of-way improvements at Highland Avenue and Franklin Street, 4600 block of Woodward Avenue, and Linscott Avenue and Grant Street.
