There are two things that are likely during the annual Chicago Gospel Music Festival: There will be some of the nation’s top gospel performers, and it’s going to rain (as veteran fest-goers know). Headliners include Tamela Mann, Smokie Norful, John P. Kee and Lecrae, right.

Why go: The festival has expanded to the Chicago Cultural Center (78 E. Washington St.) and will include tours of Bronzeville.

Reconsider: If have don’t want to go to another gospel festival and hear, “The weather is trying to test our faith.”

Details: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Ellis Park, 37th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue; free; chicagogospelmusicfestival.us
