A 25-year-old man missing from the Bowmanville neighborhood on the North Side probably needs help getting home, police said Friday while asking for the public’s help in finding him.
Brandon Steele was last seen about 9:30 a.m. Friday in the 5500 block of North Ravenswood Avenue, police said in an endangered missing alert.
Steele lives in the 5800 block of North Christiana Avenue, but because of diminished mental capacity he likely would not know how to get home, police said.
The alert describes Steele as white, 5-foot-8 and 189 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a yellow Sponge Bob T-shirt and striped shorts, and likely was wearing a backpack. He has a scar on his stomach.
