The Tribune’s September 19 editorial cartoon shows a watch displaying 12 number—not of time but of mass shootings—with the caption, “On Obama’s Watch.”
Really? President Obama has clearly and repeated pressed for restrictions on the sale of assault guns and large magazine clips. But the NRA at every instance thwarts his attempts.
This editorial cartoon should have stated: “On NRA’S Watch.”
