N.C. State QB Mitchell to start Saturday
North Carolina State quarterback Brandon Mitchell will return to the starting lineup for Saturday’s game against No. 3 Florida State after missing five games with a broken foot.
The announcement of Mitchell’s return was made by Wolfpack coach Dave Doeren on Monday.
Mitchell was 3-for-3 for 91 yards before breaking his left foot in the third offensive series of the season-opener against Louisiana Tech.
His replacement, Pete Thomas, has thrown eight interceptions and just three touchdown passes for North Carolina State (3-3).
