Lady Gaga is doing what she does best — making headlines. Not only has she dethroned Oprah by taking the top spot on Forbes magazine’s annual Celebrity 100 list, but a recent image of her alien-like cheekbones on iTunes has made the chiseled look a frequent request for plastic surgeons. “There has been a surge of people mentioning the Gaga look during consultations over the last couple of weeks,” says plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Gartner.

Celebrities are often a source of inspiration when it comes to self-improvement, and Gartner says he tends to see an increase in requests for a certain look if a picture makes a splash in the news. Here’s his list of some popular requests he’s had for procedures based on celebrity looks.
