BOURBONNAIS–The overhauled Bears defense made its debut at training camp Friday morning, giving fans a peek at the unit’s preliminary two-deep depth chart, which took shape as follows:

NT: Stephen Paea, Ego Ferguson
SLB: Shea McClellin, Christian Jones
MLB: D.J. Williams, Jon Bostic
WLB: Lance Briggs, Khaseem Greene
LCB: Tim Jennings, Kyle Fuller
RCB: Charles Tillman, Kelvin Hayden
S: Ryan Mundy, M.D. Jennings
S: Brock Vereen, Danny McCray
Safety Adrian Wilson worked with the third string in his first Bears practice.
Keep in mind that a lot will happen between now and the season opener on Sept. 7, and general manager Phil Emery has said the Bears will experiment with different personnel groupings throughout the preseason.
Friday’s groupings are at least a starting point.
