Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Inc. said Thursday its loss narrowed in the second quarter on higher bookings and client demand.
It posted a net loss of $17.8 million, or nine cents a share. A year earlier The Chicago-based health care information technology company narrowed its loss from $22.9 million, or 13 cents a share, in the same quarter a year ago.
Revenue rose 2 percent to $351.3 million.
Contract bookings with clients rose 9 percent to $234 million. For the first half of the year, bookings are up 17 percent over the year-ago period.
