What they are: These Adventure Series Yurbuds boast flat, tangle-free Kevlar cords with a special coating to make them water-resistant and durable. They have Yurbuds’ signature FlexSoft comfort fit so they won’t hurt your ears, and they also are designed to stay in place no matter how rigorous your activity. Each earphone also has a magnet so they can be clipped together when not in use. This model is compatible with iPhones and has a three-button microphone system for taking phone calls, adjusting the volume and switching between music tracks. Android phones use the Venture Talk model, which has a one-button microphone.
The good: These Yurbuds had me at first click, because there are times you want your buds handy but not in your ears. Just remove them and click them together behind your head to wear around the neck. The sound quality is great for music or phone calls. Because they are water resistant, I don’t worry about protecting them if I get caught in the rain or hang by a pool. I still have to keep my iPhone in a waterproof case, but my Venture Pros are good to go as is.
The bad: The little clip that you attach to keep the cords from dangling is awkward and easy to lose. I lost mine in the first week. I think the clip could be improved.
