Clarence McClain sits in his office at Chicago’s City Hall on October 18, 1983. McClain was an aide to Mayor Harold Washington, but the mayor fired him after it was revealed that he was briefly served time on pimping charges. McClain was later convicted in 1989 for accepting bribes.
