On his way out of the governor’s office, Pat Quinn showed himself to be petty and vindictive. Not only did he not attend the inaugural of the man who defeated him in a sign of peaceful transition in a democratic republic, but he signed a bunch of executive orders designed to embarrass the new governor. A nasty trick that is going to take time and effort to undo. Oh, and he appointed friends to state posts. Mr. Clean has never seemed so dirty.
