So the pope feels that too much free speech, especially when criticizing Islam, is a no-no. Does he then also mean to imply that violence perpetrated by those criticized is somehow an acceptable equivalent? How about the church being able to criticize public policy here in the U.S., for example, while maintaining tax-exempt status when the same privilege is not granted by our current government (the IRS specifically) to groups critical of government policy? Hypocrisy maybe?
