The Hallmark Channel, in its latest — and some might say greatest — challenge to Animal Planet’s monopoly on household pets being cute on Super Bowl Sunday, will show Kitten Bowl II at noon today. The results of Kitten Bowl I seem lost to history, though an Internet search I now regret led me to a recap in which it was described as “[v]ery cute” and “[g]reat entertainment.” I have no reason to doubt that.
These are the two reasons you, Mr. or Mrs. Baltimore Sports Fan, should care about Kitten Bowl II:
TERRELL SNUGGS!
JOE FLUFFO!
Not great puns. Not even on the same team. Still, very cute, and that’s coming from a Puppy Bowl diehard. Plus, with felines like Ben Catspunberger competing for balls of yarn or squeaky mice toys or whatever the goal of Kitten Bowl II is, how could you not tune in?
