Francisco Gamez is the fugitive of the week.
The U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes fugitive task force in Hammond is looking for Gamez, who is wanted for strangulation and criminal confinement.
Gamez, 24, is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He has been known to live in Northwest Indiana and has ties to East Chicago. He is a member of a street gan, police said.
