Dedication and tour: The memory of our dear library friend, Carol McConnell, will be honored at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 21. Join as we dedicate “Carol’s Storytime Room” in remembrance of her lifelong love and support to the Library where she served as a former board president. Then, at 11 a.m., take a tour of the art in the library and meet the talented artists behind them. Artists Beth Shadur, John Hatlestad, Leisa Corbett, Donna Sands, Mary Lou Schwall-Komie and Steven Jones will be present at each display to share information about their pieces. Enjoy light refreshments and loving gifts while supplies last.
Movie: A sensory-friendly screening of “Lady and the Tramp” will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 21. It is designed for children with special needs, with quieter volume and turned-up lights. Animal crackers will be provided but feel free to bring your own snacks. All ages welcome with an adult. Registration requested.
