…and then there were two. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has been forced into an unprecedented runoff against Cook County Commissioner Jesus “Chuy” Garcia in April. The fact that Garcia’s main qualification for the job seems to be that he isn’t Rahm will probably NOT be enough to push him past the well connected and even better financed encumbent. Not to mention that Chuy, as Gertrude Stein once said of Oakland, California, “There’s no there, there”.
