In March 12’s Tribune, David Thiessen of Woodstock says, “There is no dogma in science” (

“The beauty of science”

). While his larger point of the benefits of operational science is a good one, understanding how our universe works is beneficial to man, the statement is a fallacy.

There is most certainly dogma in science. Materialism, naturalism and Neo-Darwinism are all dogmas of modern day science rooted in atheistic philosophy and not the how and why of what we observe in the present day.
