Urban farming: Attend a discussion on getting back to the land in your own back yard at 2 p.m. March 21. Urban Farmer Peter Poli will discus basics of square foot gardening, bee keeping, chicken keeping, composting, and constructing a vermiculture bin will be discussed. There will be a focus on diverting our waste stream from the landfill to your dirt by a variety of environmentally responsible methods.
