Column disappoints

I read Rex Huppke’s column, “Discomfort or Calories? Let’s Get Fit!”(March 20) concerning Starbucks crusade to talk about race. It reminded me why I seldom read his columns. There is something arrogant about a person who thinks he’s America’s conscience and who can generalize about an entire population.

I’ll try another of his columns in 2017.
