The U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force in Hammond is looking for Gamez, who is wanted on charges of strangulation and criminal confinement.
Gamez, 24, has 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and facial tattoos. A member of a street gang, Gamez has ties to East Chicago.
