Pat Barker and Chad Castro bring a combined 57 years of dedication and trial experience to the firm coupled with their partners, Anne Scrivner Kuban, Steve Steinback, Scott Irvin, Krista Frick, Elizabeth Jaci and Jennifer Suttle. Pat and Chad began their medical negligence defense careers at Lord, Bissell & Brook, one of Chicago’s largest firms. Pat and Chad have represented many of the major medical centers, hospitals and physician groups in the City of Chicago and its surrounding areas. Anne Scrivner Kuban began her career at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office where she prosecuted in excess of 35 felony jury trials, and hundreds of bench trials ranging from financial crimes to murder cases. Steve Steinback began his legal career as a clerk to an Illinois Appellate Court justice. Upon completion of his clerkship, Steve began his career specializing in health care defense. Steve and Chad also represent physicians and health care professionals before the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Scott Irvin also brings over 15 years of experience in general, commercial and medical negligence litigation. Jennifer Suttle and Elizabeth Jaci are also seasoned trial attorneys. Krista Frick began her legal career with a focus on health care defense and soon after focused her practice on substantive writing, insurance coverage, post trial, and appellate advocacy.
