Veterinarians implanted tracking chips in six fish for forest preserve habitat study

Brookfield Zoo veterinarian Jimmy Johnson and staff implanted radio transmitter chips into five sedated fish to aid in their study of migration habitat usage. Staff from the Brookfield Zoo and the Forest Preserves of Cook County participated in the procedures at the McGinnis Field Station, Thursday, May 7, 2015 in Orland Park.
