Outlook: The Indians split two games with Penn this season, but will need a strong pitching performance from Karberg to contain a hard-hitting Noblesville team.
Class 3A Twin Lakes
When: Hamilton Heights (16-9) vs. South Bend St. Joseph (26-3), 10 a.m.; Hanover Central (22-10) vs. Leo (27-2), noon; championship, 5 p.m.

Favorite: Leo. Darkhorse: South Bend St. Joseph. Advancement: Winner plays Jasper Semistate winner in state championship at 3:30 p.m. Central on June 13 at Ben Davis.
Outlook: Leo is the defending state champion, led by senior pitcher Lindsey Bowers, who blanked Hanover Central in last year’s semifinals here.
Class 2A LaVille
When: Bremen (27-3) vs. Boone Grove (22-3), 10 a.m.; Manchester (16-9) vs. Elwood (27-4), noon; championship, 6 p.m.
Players to watch: Boone Grove: P Amanda Hawrot, C Carla Marcheschi, IF Sarah Brown, IF-P Angie Marcheschi, IF Taylor Stevens, OF Taylor Howell, IF Gianna Hamady.
Favorite: Elwood. Darkhorse: Boone Grove. Advancement: Winner plays Forest Park Semistate winner in state championship at 12:30 p.m. Central on June 13 at Ben Davis.
Outlook: Boone Grove, which has won five straight games, is making its first-ever appearance at semistate. The Wolves will go as far as Hawrot carries them.
Class A Clinton Prairie
When: North Miami (25-3) vs. South Central (22-7), 9 a.m.; Carroll (22-4) vs. Tri-County (12-10) 11 a.m.; championship, 5 p.m.
Players to watch: South Central: P-IF Jenn Salyer, IF-OF Kayla Sommers, P-IF Mikayla Eaton, P-IF Savanah Becker, IF-C Morgan Wright; OF Mikayla Rosenbaum.
Favorite: North Miami. Darkhorse: Carroll. Advancement: Winner plays North Daviess Semistate winner in state championship at 9:30 a.m. Central on June 13 at Ben Davis.
Outlook: North MIami is the defending state champion. South Central is making its second appearance at semistate. The Satellites lost to Tecumseh in 2007.
