H.P. Davis “Deever” Rockwell, van der Rohe’s student and protege, designed the “House on a Bluff” at 20841 Oak Lane Drive for his family. The 3,600-square-foot home, at once echoing and expanding on the concepts of van der Rohe’s masterpiece, is for sale for the first time since its construction 51 years ago, listed late Wednesday at $619,000.
