Pier cleanup: Dania Beach Pier has its fifth annual cleanup dive from 9 a.m. to noon June 28. Certified divers are needed to remove debris, fishing line, lures and sinkers from the water. YCF Tournament: The Young Constructors Forum of South Florida has the 13th annual YCF Fishing Tournament for kingfish, dolphin, wahoo and tuna from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 27 at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina in Pompano Beach. Entry fee is $1,000 per boat for six anglers. Proceeds benefit Construction Angels, which helps families of construction workers who have lost their lives while working on a jobsite. Safe boating: U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 5-4 has a safe boating class from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 27 at Harvey E. Oyer Jr. Park, 2010 N. Federal Hwy., Boynton Beach. Cost is $40. Call Ron Cuneo at 561-389-1850 to register.

Bass results: Steve Forssell caught 17.6 pounds of fish June 20, including the big bass of 7.34, to win the One Man Elite tournament at Everglades Holiday Park. Mike Krause was second at 17.01.

SUP races: Island Water Sports has the Sunshine SUP Series June 27 starting at 9 a.m. south of Pompano Pier. There are 3-mile, 6-mile and sprint races in several divisions, plus free kids races. UM tournament: Former University of Miami football stars Randal Hill and Andre Johnson will host the fifth annual Habitat for Humanity of the Upper Keys/University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame Celebrity Dolphin Fishing Tournament June 27 at Founders Park in Islamorada. Other former Hurricanes scheduled to fish are Warren Sapp, Ted Hendricks, Clinton Portis, Brett Romberg, Gary Dunn and Damione Lewis. Cash prizes and trophies will be presented to anglers in eight categories. The kickoff party, silent auction and captains meeting are June 26. Proceeds benefit The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, Coastal Conservation Association and the UMSHoF in addition to Habitat for Humanity. Hunter safety: A hunter safety Internet-completion course is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 28 at Gun World of South Florida, 1700 S. Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach. Students must complete the Internet course before coming to class and bring a copy of the final report. An adult must accompany children under 16. Snakehead tournament: A JD’s Custom Baits Snakehead Round-Up is safe light to 2 p.m. July 11 out of Veterans Memorial Park, 7044 NW 1st St., Margate. Double tournament: Deliver the Dream’s Fishing for the Dream fun fish tournament will be held in conjunction with RJ Boyle’s Sunburned Swordfish 7 tournament July 18 at the Lighthouse Point Yacht & Racquet Club.
