LGBT: Four letters that represent an entire community of people looking for equal rights in this world. Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people are, for the most part, looked down upon for not following the “way of God” when looking for love in the world.
Chicago is one of the cities in the world where LGBT groups are well-known and are often either loved or hated by the “normal” people.
People’s lives should not be affected in a negative way if they decide to change their appearance or to love someone of the same sex. Love is love no matter who it is, and none of us has the right to tell other people how to run their lives.
The world is changing, and allowing gay marriage is just the first step to worldwide acceptance. Hatred toward LGBT members should not be an issue in the world to begin with, but they are definitely not going to back down from expressing their true feelings just as every heterosexual person does in today’s world.
