It was disturbing to read that a rural Wisconsin parish allowed individuals to traumatize, physically abuse, beat and mistreat intelligent and sociable pigs at a cruel event known as a “pig rassle.” To make matters worse, the pigs were irreverently taken to ungodly slaughterhouses to ingloriously die on the following day.
Obviously, this church ignores the fact that Christianity considers pigs and other animals to be creatures of God. The church’s malevolent exploitation and abuse of pigs is an abomination.
