A 36-year-old man was injured Tuesday evening after he was shot while walking in Aurora, police said.

According to police, the man was walking in the area of Downer Place and Lincoln Avenue around 9:05 p.m. when he was struck in the hip by a bullet. Police said he sustained non-life threatening injuries. No suspect description was given, police said.
