It’s sad that we live in the greatest country in the world and the food basket of the world, and our people are going to food pantries. We should all reflect on where we’ve gone wrong because it’s sad. There’s no reason for people to have to take a handout in the breadbasket of the world.
Interstate 65 is closed northbound from Lebanon to Lafayette. Please explain why they need to close 40 miles of interstate to repair one lone bridge by Lafayette.
To the person who mentioned the North American Free Trade Agreement and the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, you’re absolutely right. If the steel companies were not making a profit, they would have closed these U.S. plants a long time ago. They always use scare tactics prior to negotiations.
We have a little more than a year before our next election. There is plenty of time for everyone to register to vote and to get a valid ID. There is no excuse to not do your civil duty.
Thank you, Mother Nature, for this amazing weather.
To the workers threatening to strike the steel mills. Go ahead. $90,000 a year and you want to strike a company that lost over a quarter of a billion dollars?
