Two people escaped injury but their residence was uninhabitable after a fire early Tuesday at a condominium complex in Homewood, a fire official said.
The fire started about midnight at the Pinetree Condominiums in the 3200 block of 184th Street, Homewood Deputy Fire Chief Steve DeJong said. The cause of the fire, which was contained to one unit, was under investigation.
Firefighters had the fire under control in 60 to 90 minutes, DeJong said. A damage estimate wasn’t immediately available, he said.
