Only in Hobart would they start discussing traffic patterns and parking in the downtown district in the middle of a major construction project. It’s called a plan for a reason. Try one sometime.

As a Christian I am amazed at how other Christians can bully a man who is standing up for his beliefs. Jim Bellar, there are plenty of real Christians who have your back in your dispute with River Forest over school prayer.

Every time I drive home from work, I see tons of signs advertising Portage schools. I wonder how much money has been spent on advertising when the school corporation is the only one in town? Why spend so much money on signs to advertise the school? Why not spend it on the kids? What a frivolous use of taxpayer money.

This is for the woman who said she walks her dog in Maplewood Historic Cemetery. I just want to point out that a cemetery is not a dog park. It is rude and disrespectful for anyone to take their dog to a cemetery to do its business.

If the company would hire the required number of employees, wages would not be anywhere near as high.

Gov. Mike Pence spent $24,000 of taxpayer money to take his entourage to a Yankees game in New York. Now he is going to spend $873,000 on six new doors at the statehouse for “public safety,” he says. Yet these doors are not to be used by the public. This guy spends taxpayer money like a … a Democrat.

Years ago the Michael Jackson family could have done lots for the city of Gary. Now, to keep his memory alive, they come once a year and give a few gifts away.
