The following were compiled from police reports.

Wheaton

The side of a vinyl-sided swimming pool was slashed and a bench valued at $25 was stolen from a residence in the 500 block of S. Beverly Street on Sept. 7.

A juvenile was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, equipment violation and driving without a license Sept. 7 near the intersection of Harrison and West.

Danavia Reniece Simpson, 32, of the 1700 block of Roosevelt Road, was charged with retail theft under $300 for allegedly stealing alcohol and energy drinks from Mariano’s, 625 S. Main St.

Mady Gabriel, 25, of the 1700 block of Woodbury Lane, Aurora, was charged with DUI, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle Sept. 6 near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and West Street.

Jason S. Lucas and Michelle Gonzales, both 44 and residents of the apartment complex at #4 Wheaton Center, were charged with domestic battery Sept. 5..

Thomas Albert Korinko, 55, of the 0 to 100 block of Ash Street, Lombard, was charged with battery Sept. 5 at a business located in the 1700 block of Naperville Road.

A bicycle with a value of $350 was reported stolen from a bicycle rack at the College Street train depot off Crescent Boulevard on Sept. 4.

A set of automobile keys was reported stolen from an employee storage closet at the Wheaton Care Center, 1325 W. Manchester Road, on Sept. 4.

A bottle of beer was reported stolen from Jewel, 30 Danada Square, on Sept. 5.

Bernadette M. Stifle, 31, of the 300 block of Birchwood Avenue, Elk Grove, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI, illegal transportation of an alcoholic beverage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage on Sept. 5 near the intersection of Roosevelt and Lorraine roads.

Meat and assorted groceries valued at $87 were reported stolen from Mariano’s, 625 S. Main St., on Sept. 4.

Brooke M. Wood, 22, of the 500 block of Aztec Drive, Carol Stream, was charged with DUI, resisting and obstructing an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, signal violation, improper lane usage and possession of a controlled substance on Sept. 4 near the intersection of Forest Avenue and Main Street.
