R. Buckminster “Bucky” Fuller was a philosopher, architect and futurist who saw things in prescient ways that resound loudly in our day of rising temperatures and plummeting profits. He was an environmentalist ahead of his time, seeing the world as a single ecological entity with limited resources. Bucky invented the geodesic dome which exemplified his idea of obtaining maximum impact from minimal materials.
