Chicago will ride a temperature roller coaster in the coming seven days but precipitation will be practically nonexistent. Near normal temperatures Wednesday give way to warmer readings Thursday and then much cooler temperatures — the coolest of the season so far — Friday and Saturday. Readings begin to moderate Sunday, then push into the lower or middle 70s on Monday and Tuesday.

All of these temperature changes occur with little or no rain, although a few brief showers might occur late Thursday and Friday.
