Does Ryan Pace bring back Jay Cutler next season given his much improved play? — @Jake_Dont_Blink
If not Cutler, who? That’s the question Pace, coach John Fox and offensive coordinator Adam Gase will have to answer. I don’t know how far they believe Cutler can lead the Bears but they certainly don’t have an upgrade on the roster right now. Gase has Cutler getting rid of the ball quickly which is protecting the quarterback and the offensive line. He’s making more sound decisions with the football and he’s playing with poise. I don’t think anyone would rank Cutler with the NFL’s elite quarterbacks right now and if you don’t have one of those guys, you’re constantly searching for him. That being said, the Bears could do much worse than Cutler at this point.
