About 9:20 p.m.: A man opened fire with a semi-automatic weapon on Carillon, a crowded cafe-bar in the trendy Canal Saint-Martin area of eastern Paris.
He then crossed the road and targeted diners sitting on the terrace of Le Petit Cambodge, a small restaurant serving Cambodian and Vietnamese food.
Police said 15 were killed and 10 injured.
Hundreds of shell casings were found, police said.
