The white wire deer in Thanksgiving Pilgrim attire is not asking a question about the 13-point buck that was accidentally struck and killed by a vehicle recently in the vicinity. According to local residents, this deer standing across the street from Burlington Oasis convenience store/gas station on Plank Road was part of a duo that once graced the yard of a Burlington home before his “brother” was taken as part of an ongoing practical joke. Folks in the area never know where the deer will appear next.
